Forget regrets…
We oftentimes think we know how things could have been. However, that feeling of certainty can keep us stuck and small. In fact, having regrets can be a form of self-sabotage.
Making mistakes gives us an opportunity to widen our horizon and change our perspective. At the time that choice aka ‘mistake’ felt like the right thing to do. If your intentions were good, it was worth making those mistakes.
Sometimes, though, the suffering can be so overpowering that the feeling of regret keeps lingering. Self-compassion is our truest friend - it helps us find light in our darkest moments.
